Smile Stories Pediatric Dentistry--Office of Joyce Huang Bright DDS

We love Dr Joyce and the whole staff at Smile Stories. Dr Joyce is so good with the kids, able to connect directly with them and inform them of what is happening. All of the hygienists have been great, able to do a thorough clean with gentleness and patience. Front desk is also on top of appointments and rescheduling. Plus they take our insurance which is rare.

We have had a great experience with Smile Srories for the last 3 years after switching from another dentist in Burlingame. Everyone is very friendly, and my kids like them a lot. They have been able to work with me to fit us in when we have had to reschedule, which I appreciate. I highly recommend them!

My kids started to go there from 1 year old and now they’re 5 and 2.5, both love going there for teeth cleaning! All the people we met there were really nice and patient! Also good at making kids enjoy the teeth cleaning process. Amazing! Highly recommended!

Dr. Joyce went above and beyond for my daughter. My 6-year-old came in for a routine cleaning, and Dr. Joyce discovered a dental abscess that we had no idea about. She immediately put together a comprehensive treatment plan, prescribed antibiotics, and knowing that the extraction needed to happen under general anesthesia, didn't stop there. When her own schedule couldn't accommodate the procedure as quickly as she wanted, Dr. Joyce personally reached out to multiple pediatric dentists in the area to find someone who could see my daughter sooner. She sent me their contact information, forwarded X-rays and treatment plans the same day, and even followed up with the anesthesiologist to check availability at other offices. She truly prioritized my daughter's care over keeping the case in her own practice. It's rare to find a dentist who is this proactive and genuinely puts the patient first. Dr. Joyce is thorough, communicative, and clearly cares about her patients. Both of my kids are patients at Smile Stories and I wouldn't take them anywhere else.

We love bringing our child here because of the very caring, patient, and kind dentists and staff. Also, they have such a great setup for toddlers and kids! There is a small play area in the waiting room (kept very clean) and the dental examination chairs have monitors above them to keep kiddos distracted & calm during their examination/cleanings.

It was the first time my two year old went to the dentist. I was a little nervous as you hear horror stories but my fears quickly vanished went I entered Smile Stories. Everyone was so nice! The waiting room had toys for my son to play with while we waited. The dental hygienist, Nicole, cleaned his teeth and was such a sweetheart. She made him feel comfortable and explained what they were going to do before they did it. I would absolutely recommend Smile Stories to any and everyone! It was a wonderful experience.

We absolutely love our pediatric dentist, Dr. Joyce Huang, and her entire team. They truly embody what it means to be part of the village every parent deserves. Both my girls see Dr. Huang, and the experience has been consistently wonderful. My older daughter has high sensitivity and anxiety, and it means so much that everyone - from the front desk to the dental assistants to Dr. Huang herself - is aware of her needs. They keep thoughtful notes so even someone meeting her for the first time knows exactly how to support her. They walk her through every step of the process, move at her pace, and make sure she feels relaxed and in control before anything happens. Watching her receive that level of care (and actually feel good about going to the dentist) is honestly amazing. It’s such a relief as a parent to know she’s not afraid and is building positive experiences around her health. We love this place and couldn’t recommend them more!
