This place is awesome! Cat took my X-rays and made me feel so comfortable and she was very friendly. Tessa and Dr A were also very friendly. My whole experience was great here . Highly recommend!

I don't want to sound too internet-trendy here, but Dr. Gahndi and the ladies who worked with me today are GIRLS' girls, and I appreciated it so much. I have horrendous medical and dental anxiety, to the point that it probably looks ridiculous to outside observers. I learned this morning that I likely need a root canal (or worse, could lose my tooth if it's fractured). Having never had dental issues in my adult life (I got all my cavities in the 1990s), I immediately panicked and cried. Rather than rushing me out or seeming put-off, everyone helping me went into support mode. Dr. Gahndi gave me a referral to an endodontist used and vouched for by real people in her life (not just a paper list from my insurance's website or something). Another lady took the bib and light glasses out of my way, checked in with scheduling, and offered me a follow-up (cleaning and filling repair on another tooth) within 24 hours. The lady who completed my x-rays calmed me down a bit, asking if the anxiety was about the upcoming procedure or something else. I told her it was 100% financial, and she basically reassured me that there would be an option that would work and make my mouth healthy again, and extraction isn't the end of the world if that is what I can afford (my dental plan isn't great). While I don't want to have a tooth removed, I also don't want sepsis from an untreated tooth infection, so I can't really argue there. Before I left, yet another lady at the front desk had already pulled up my insurance information and informed me whether my plan had endodontist coverage and the percentage range covered. I didn't need to ask anyone for any of these things. I had planned to run out of the office to hide my embarrassing anxiety and drive home. They actually *helped* me just to help me. To note, it was my first visit; this was the first time any of these people had met or talked to me, and they still went out of their way to help me. I have been through a lot in the last 6 years. A *lot.* Every day, every task, everything "normal" people take for granted is currently a huge undertaking for me. 10 years ago I would never cry at the dentist, but medical settings cause me intense dread due to multiple personal losses since 2020. Nobody in the office knew these things about me, and that's the part I appreciate the most. They weren't coddling someone who is dealing with trauma and medical avoidance - they were doing their jobs in a way that seemed to be routine and normal for them. I am trying hard to start associating medical settings with more positive feelings (for instance, I will focus on how my root canal/extraction appointment is associated with reduced pain, instead of fear/anxiety), but I'm not there yet. However, the grace, professionalism, and kindness I experienced today at Manus Dental Yorkville is a step in the right direction. I appreciate everyone's time and attention very much. This is how medical offices were when I was seeing pediatricians in the 90s, and I wish it's how they all still were.

Got me in for an emergency as a new patient same day. They were thourough, kind, soft-handed, and upfront about all costs and procedures while providing the best course of action for ME, not what was profitable for them. After many horrible experiences with dentists, I think I found my new team. A+ experience!

Excellent care with the entire staff at Manus Dental. They are professional and work together as a team, everyone is helpful and friendly. Any of my treatments have been throughly assessed and completed without any issues or ongoing problems. I would highly recommend Manus Dental for any new patients and others searching for a positive experience and outcome for your dental health.

Awful! I had a very frustrating experience with this dental office. The front office staff was consistently unfriendly and unhelpful. When I had questions about billing, I was told that I needed to “learn my own insurance” and that they couldn’t assist me, which felt both dismissive and unprofessional. I paid my bill in full on the day of service, yet I was later billed again and contacted repeatedly by them and their billing company. When I reached out to the office for clarification, they were uncooperative, placed blame on me, and even hung up during the conversation. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated that way simply for asking about a bill I had already paid. After dealing directly with the billing company, it was confirmed that I had in fact paid in full—and had actually overpaid. This situation could have been easily resolved with better communication and basic customer service. Overall, this office came across as more focused on collecting money than providing respectful care to their patients. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for dental services.

Short wait time. Each person, from the receptionist, to the assistant, to the dentist, were very knowledgeable. They were all extremely friendly and very professional in answering my questions. Even if I felt they were a little dumb. I felt very comfortable coming in after a few years without a dentist appointment. They were even able to get me a solid plan of action before I walked out the door. I’ve never felt more at home in a dentist office.
