Dr. C Dental - South Hill

Great experience. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed how thorough my dental hygienist was with my cleaning. Learned about what is currently wrong with my teeth. 🦷 and what may need some work in the future. Most of all - glad I didn’t have a cavity!

My wife and I have moved to Dr. C in the last year and a half and we love the atmosphere with the workers! Always bright smiles and great convos; a very encouraging, affordable, and dependable team! We’re so glad we made the switch, it takes the annoyance away from dentist appointments.

Every experience I have had at Dr. C’s has been wonderful. From the greeting at the front desk, to the care that is taken during my exam. My hygienist, Diana is the absolute best and I can’t say enough good things about her.

Amazing job and explains everything thoroughly . I personally have been traumatized and abused and have PTSD due to other dentist and this dentist did a very great job making me feel comfortable in the chair. I highly recommend this office to anybody that has problems with previous dentist this dentist will do everything and his power to make you feel comfortable and taken care of and makes you feel safe like you're not going to be traumatized by that dentist. And he will not let anybody hurt you He is very gentle. Dentist Truman was phenomenal. Thank you again to this place for helping me and making me feel welcome and listen to and cared for and safe!!! Doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. Dental assistant was also knowledgeable and friendly. Even though I was anything but friendly to them, they remained professional. I had to keep show going so they wouldn’t take an extra 15 minutes explaining the entire process. My discomfort and loathsome feeling towards the dentist in general aside, I would recommend them to others. If they can put up with me, you’ll do just fine I bet. My only real complaint is a minor one. During my procedure it sounded like the dental assistant’s phone kept getting texts, which was distracting and seemed slightly unprofessional, but it could’ve been a medical device for all I know. 3 crowns, a root canal, a filling, 5 to 6 thousand dollars, and 3 years later I should be all done with this place. Oh joy…

These folks are amazing!! If I had known of them before I started any of my dental work, I would have come here first. they are kind, gentle and consider my needs and what is best for me and how my insurance will cover it all. They let me know all that they were doing and why. Also gave me options on what I wanted done and seriously considered what I had to say. I really appreciated that! Thank you so very much.

In the beginning I really liked them and they are great with teeth cleaning, they are all very nice. When it came to my TMD it had been gone for 14 years and after they did a crown it came back with a vengeance. They told me the crown was fine (3 years in pain after the crown). I finally switched dentists they fixed my crown and it is much better., so the crown was not fine. They also scheduled a routine cleaning too early which I was unaware of and they told me after the visit, then the cleaning was 100% my responsibility. This is not a knock against the other doctor C dentals in the area. If you are looking for someone that specialized in TMJ issues this is not the place. Routine teeth cleanings they are great.

My husband and I just had a wonderful experience at Dr C’s today. We each had new patient exams and were very impressed with how thorough and efficient they were. Everyone of their staff members (front desk, hygienists and Dr. Finn) were very professional while at the same time warm, kind and funny. We are so happy to have found Dr. C Family Dentistry!

This dental office has great staff, a good in-office experience, and decent care. I'm giving three stars instead of five because they charged us $125 for an appointment we never confirmed. The need to ensure no-shows don't happen is perfectly understandable, but charging a fee when the patient doesn't confirm the appointment is concerning. If you become a patient with this practice, be careful to understand when and how fees are charged so there are no surprises. Edit: the office contacted us and offered a waiver of the fee, which is appreciated.

I was able to get in quickly for an urgent need. The staff and dentist were kind, explained the problem and discussed different treatment options. I had my tooth removed and it was pain free- even the day after! The price was reasonable and an estimate was provided prior to care. I will be changing to them for regular care.
