Santa Cruz Dental Artists: M. Catalina Payne, DMD

I had a dental emergency after a previous filling failed, and I was really upset and panicked. I called this office in tears, and they got me in the same day for an evaluation. The dentist took one look at me and said, ‘Oh honey, you can’t wait until September 4th,’ then offered to come in an hour early the next morning to fix it. She did beautiful work, and the whole experience was so compassionate and caring. I’m so grateful I found them and highly recommend this office.

I love the team here, from the front desk staff to the dental assistants, to Dr. Catalina herself. Everyone is very kind and does their best to make you as comfortable as possible at every visit. If you're local, I highly recommend this office if you're looking for a new dentist. :)

First of all, I am terrified of dentists. This stellar team of Dr. Catalina, her Assistant Ubia and the front office team are so professional that my experience today was much easier than I imagined . I appreciate that the team tells me what they are doing so I can be apprised of the procedure in real time. They are all very concerned about my comfort and well being during the procedure and Dr. Catalina does excellent work.

So far so good! I just started with Dr. Catalina’s office today because after spending a year & upwards of $15K at my previous dentist, I’m still not even 1/2 way done on my journey towards a full beautiful smile. I don’t believe my previous work is up to par & I could not see a light at the end of the tunnel towards reaching my goals. Everyone at Dr. Catalina Payne’s office have been kind and are knowledgeable. I feel safe putting my future in their hands.

I was visiting from out of town and had a dental emergency. After looking online, I saw that Santa Cruz Dental Artist had good reviews and were available for same-day visits. Rozanne reached out to me within a few hours, she was very compassionate and realized that needed to be seen that afternoon (which was a Friday).. I have nothing but positive things to say about this dental practice. The front desk staff were welcoming and explained procedures, cost, etc. thoroughly. From that point on the Dental Assistants and Dr. Catalina were amazing. My dental needs became quite complex due to an infection, Dr. Catalina called me on Saturday to check on me and confirm follow up. Today was my follow up and tooth extraction. I appreciate that nitrous oxide was available in addition to local anesthetic. I received very thorough follow up instructions, including a prescription for antibiotics. The entire staff was amazing and deserving of the highest recommendation. Should I eventually move here, I know I have an awesome dentist as part of my medical team.

I have received excellent dental care over the past 3 years by the hygienist & Dr Catalina. The staff & Dr Catalina educate on dental hygiene and recognizes when they see the patient’s hygiene improving. The front desk ladies are the best-cordial, friendly & professional. I highly recommend Dr. Catalina if you are looking for a dentist!

Dr. Catalina Payne has provided me with excellent dental care from basic cleanings to all dental procedures I've received. Dr. Catalina Payne exceeded my expectations every time I visited her office. Well run office, competent, efficient and helpful staff. Up to date on the latest technologies, with caring and personable people from reception to cleaning and the dentist herself.
