I had an excellent experience at Dr. Smile in San Pedro with Dr. Kay. He confidently explained that my root canal was more complex than usual, then completed it efficiently with his assistant—much faster than expected. The process was smooth and professional, and I felt completely in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Kay and the Dr. Smile team for root canals and complex dental work.

Great & honest experience! From the very beginning starting with the front desk staff to the friendly and sweet Taylor. They treated me fast and made me feel at home Ety and Dr son worked on my cleaning today, they provided me with the best treatment plans yet and were very caring. First time patient and ill definately be coming back. Thank you so much again for making me feel at home. Ill definately be making this place my dental place to go for any future dental concerns!

I called dr smile’s office at 8:15 on a Thursday for an emergency visit regarding my 4 on 4 implant. They were able to get me in at 1:30 and remove it for repairs. I have never had bad experience here. The staff and dr’s are all very friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for full 4 on 4 implants I highly recommend them. Jimmy Davis Happy patient 😁

I was initially very impressed by Dr. Smile. The office is modern, the technology is great, and the staff are very friendly and responsive at first. It really felt like I had found a professional and trustworthy place. However, my experience changed completely after I received the treatment plan. I was quoted over $1,000 for a single crown (with insurance), which immediately raised concerns. For comparison, another dental office quoted me around $650 for the same procedure. I reached out multiple times—by email and text—requesting a pre-approval and a detailed breakdown of the costs, as recommended by my insurance. Despite being told they would follow up, I never received the information. Communication completely stopped once I started questioning the pricing. That lack of transparency is a major red flag. It gives the impression that once you start asking questions about costs, they are no longer interested in working with you. I would strongly caution others: while the office may seem welcoming and professional at first, make sure you fully understand the pricing upfront and don’t expect reliable follow-through when you ask for clarification.

Had a great experience at Dr.Smile they took care of my dental needs same day. Had very minimal pain after my procedure. Everyone was very helpful and caring they even walked me home. I recommend Dr. Smile to all my friends and family!

Love Dr. Smile dentist office. This has been my family dentist for over 4 years now and we love it! The treatment is 10 out of 10 they always make you feel comfortable when getting work done. The front desk staff always greets you with a smile. They are great with small children and teens! Dr. Sung is AMAZING!!! Always makes sure to communicate during procedures and makes me feel safe.

I’ve been using Dr. Smile for years and just recently I had a crown put in. It was easier than I thought and they made sure they were able to match my other teeth perfectly. Dr Sung is very experienced and accommodating at her job.Taylor is a very good assistant who made me feel valued and it was very nice chatting with her throughout my visit 🤩🥰 Let’s not forget the front office girls who are always pleasant, patient and smiling for us!!!

Dr. Smile Dentist absolutely knocked it out of the park. Huge shoutout to Marisella and Jasmine for setting the tone and making the whole visit feel smooth and stress free. Everything felt organized, thoughtful, and easy, which is not something people usually say about dental visits. Taeylor deserves a special mention. Extra cautious, extra thorough, and incredibly clear with explanations. She took her time with my X rays and imaging, walked me through every step, and made sure I understood exactly what I was looking at and why it mattered. That level of care and attention goes a long way, especially when it comes to me being in pain and making my whole day about this one appointment. Dr. K was also excellent. Confident, knowledgeable, and straight up informative and reassuring. The iTero and Invisalign imaging was next level, being able to actually see everything in real time makes a huge difference and builds real trust in the process. I had an amazing experience with my visit at Dr. Smile today. Starting with Jasmin at reception who warmly greeted me when I arrived. Joe the hygienist was great as well. A special thank you to Dr. Sung for her thoroughness and her amazing assistants Taeylor and Safet who both made my appointment great. So if you experience any type of dental anxiety this is the place to try.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Smile for 13 years and love it. They are patient to make my experience as comfortable as possible (I’m a gagger and don’t like any pain…….lolololol), they go out of their way to personalize my experience from the moment I walk into the office, and they tolerate my sense of humor. They provide high quality dentistry and try to keep my costs down as much as possible.

I've been coming to this dentist for several years now and I could not be more satisfied with the service. The admin staff are very well organized and communicative. They regularly contact me for reminders whether it's via text or phone call. The cost breakdown is given to you before anything happens. The professionalism and friendly service is very appreciated. The dentists and hygienist themselves are very good at what they do. They will find a problem, address it, go into the cause, solution and prevention. They will answer every question you have regarding your teeth and explain the imaging in depth. When work is being performed they are thorough and won't rush even if there's another patient waiting. I haven't had any issues with my dental work but when I do I am able to see them rather quickly. The office itself is clean and bright. I am glad I found a dentist I can trust and regularly go to.
