The staff is exceptionally friendly, patient, and professional, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Ortega's interactions with me have been warm and reassuring, and the care I have received has been both informative and comfortable. Amazing facility. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Dr. R is great! Aisha is just awesome too. Aisha is so friendly and funny. I love joking around with her and she has taken such good care of me. I came to Southern Smiles because I needed a crown replaced and they were one of the very few who took my Humana insurance and they were the only ones of all the facilities that I called who answered all my questions about what was and wasn't covered and what my out of pocket expenses might look like. Of course they were rough estimates because they can't account for any variables, but it was more information than anyone else providedme. Dr. R is very thorough in his explanation of what's going on in your mouth, but rather than overwhelming you with information, he breaks it down one topic at a time and answers any questions or concerns you might have before moving on to the next topic. The dentist I saw for the last 10 year was was also super friendly. My prior dentist told me how good, clean, and healthy my mouth was, so I didn't expect anything less, and I probably would have stayed if it wasn't for the expense of the crown. During my initial visit at Southern Smiles, Dr. R showed me the results of the 3D imaging as well as the other tests performed. To say that I was shocked is an understatement. You don't have to have any knowledge of dentistry to see that I had a lot of problems going on. I didn't just need to replace the crown that fell off, I needed 3 more crowns for teeth that I complained about to my last dentist. I had 14 cavities and the start of gingivitis! Thank goodness Southern Smiles takes my insurance or I wouldn't have found out anything was wrong until it was much worse. Unfortunately, the problem with insurance is that they just don't pay much. Thankfully Southern Smiles had several options for paying over time. During my treatments Dr. R let's you know what he is going to do before he does it and makes sure you're comfortable. If you're in the market for a new dentist or if you're on the fence about leaving or staying with your current dentist, I would definitely give Southern Smiles a chance to win your business. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I have recommended them to all my family members.

The entire team was fantastic. From the moment I entered the building everyone was so welcoming. The team truly cares about their patients’ comfort. I highly recommend this office to anyone that is looking for quality care.

Called and was seen the same day, was able to start treatment the next day. All of the ladies at the front are wonderful. Tay and Aisha in the back along with Dr.R made me feel like family and so comfortable. Will always always always recommend them for their compassion!
