I had a broken tooth while on vacation they got me in and took care of it same day. I would switch to this dentist if I lived in Texas. Dr.Ramoliya and staff were all amazing.

I had an excellent experience at Melissa Family Dental & Orthodontics! Dr. Sanjay Ramoliya was professional, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The entire staff was welcoming, and the office was clean, modern, and well organized. I truly felt like they cared about my comfort and dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Ramoliya and the team to anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

I waited to write this review... Growing up I have not had the best dental care and have dealt with some mean drs. I now have the ability to start extensive dental treatment. I came to this office because of it's good reviews. And after just moving to Melissa, I wanted to get established as a new patient. I was in pain and needed help. I had xrays done and was told to have a seat on the chair and wait for the dr. When he came in before even looking at my teeth he came off very aggressively stating that I need to make a decision and he "can't tell me what to do" then proceeded to tell me "if you have financial problems then that is on you." I did not mention anything about my finances. He left the room and said he was going to type up estimates for me. After waiting for about 5 mins I decided that I did not deserve to be treated that way and walked out of the office. I didn't even get a cleaning done. The technician that did my xrays saw me walking out and did not say anything to me. I highly recommend you seek treatment elsewhere. If you work in customer service/ health care you should not talk to patients that way at all. Highly unacceptable!!

This was my second visit to Melissa Family Dental, and it just reminded me why I love this place. I actually used to work here, so I know how much care and effort the team puts into making every patient feel comfortable — and they still live up to that standard. The staff is so kind and welcoming, and Dr. Sanjay as always profesional and thorough. The whole office has such a friendly, relaxed vibe. Even after working in dental offices, I can honestly say this one stands out!

Curtious staff over the phone and in person. Dr. Sanjay is very knowledgeable and expert in Dentistry. I got detailed analysis of current condition of my dental hygiene, all the options I have to fix it. All treatments were painless and permanent. I have been going to Melissa Family Dental for over 5 years, since I moved to Texas and highly recommend it.

We have had such an incredible experience with this practice that I don’t even know where to start. Our entire family has been treated here—my daughters (who transferred in from another orthodontist), myself as an adult finishing braces, and now my youngest son, who struggles with anxiety in medical settings. Every single experience has been exceptional, and we all absolutely love our new smiles. I just got my braces off within the last month, and I’m still getting compliments from coworkers on how beautiful my smile is. We originally found this office after having a frustrating experience with a previous orthodontic provider, where we often felt rushed and like an inconvenience. The difference here was immediate. From scheduling (which is flexible and accommodating) to the way patients are treated, everything is handled with care and respect. What truly sets this dentist apart is how he treats people. He takes his time, explains everything in detail, and—this is huge for me—uses visual aids so you actually understand what’s happening and why. He walks through the pros, cons, and risks, and then genuinely lets you make the decision, fully supporting you either way. You never feel pressured or “sold to,” which is something I’ve experienced far too often at other offices. Not once have I been pushed toward unnecessary products or treatments. For my son, who can get very anxious, the level of patience and compassion has been unmatched. They slow everything down, explain each step, show him the tools, and give him the time he needs to feel comfortable. If he gets overwhelmed, they simply pause and let him reset—no pressure, no rushing. That kind of care is rare, and it means everything to us as parents. The office itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Orthodontics and surgical procedures have their own dedicated spaces, which I really appreciate. There are TVs in every room to help keep kids (and adults!) relaxed, and seating so parents can stay close. The front desk team is always friendly, organized, and responsive, appointments run on time, and parking is easy. They even offer extended hours (open until 7pm one night a week), which makes scheduling so much easier for working families. Beyond the quality of care, what exceeded my expectations most is how genuine this team is. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about his patients—not just as cases, but as people. If you are looking for a dentist who listens, explains, prioritizes your comfort, and treats your family with patience and respect, this is the place. We won’t go anywhere else—and I recommend him to everyone I know.

Did not book services. Called around dental clinics to get pricing. The person who answered the phone definitely made this place lose my business. I was highly considering this place based on reviews and intended to book if the phone call went well but the lady who answered couldn't give answers and did not care to seek another person to help her. She completely lied when I asked if they do in-house financing or 3rd party financing. She said no because they are a private office. I said so no care credit or anything. And her response was, yes we take that. That is considered 3rd party financing. She didn't even care to bring it up. Her lack of office knowledge left me feeling uneasy about going there. I even brought that up on the phone call with her and her response was, have a good day. It was an awkward phone call with a person who couldn't answer basic questions and then lied.

We were seen for the first time and received treatment within a week. The staff contacted me after operating hours (her weekend) to schedule our minor emergency. This Dentist is incredibly accommodating to your specific needs while giving you options based on those individual needs. (We are generally holistic) the DA comforted my son for his first ever procedure and ensured he felt 100% ok with each step as they both worked on him. She was incredibly sweet and comforting. He was quick yet gentle. I highly recommend this practice. You’ll definitely leave smiling :)
