Dr. Mustafa was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain my treatment plan thoroughly, making me feel comfortable and confident in my care. Lesly, the dental hygienist, was also amazing — gentle, caring, and professional. The entire staff is kind, welcoming, and genuinely extremely helpful, and the office is beautiful and inviting. I cannot commend them enough for such exceptional service,I highly recommend Dr. Mustafa, Lesly, and the entire team! 🪥

I've been entrusting Lockport Dental with my dental care for over 12 years. They are always very thorough, proactive, and professional. The front desk staff is wonderful and always greet me by name. I had a teeth cleaning a couple of days ago by a wonderful hygienist. She was very thorough, gentle, and made sure the chair position and tools she used didn't trigger my vertigo. As a new patient, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I typically have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, and I usually leave with soreness after a cleaning. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely comfortable and cared for. Erin, my dental hygienist, was incredibly kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, which immediately put me at ease. My cleaning was thorough yet surprisingly comfortable—I had absolutely no pain during or afterward. Dr. Mufasa was equally wonderful. He was professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. His bedside manner was exceptional, and it was clear that he truly cares about his patients. The entire team made what is usually a stressful experience feel calm and positive. If you’ve ever avoided the dentist because of anxiety, I highly recommend this office. I’m so grateful to have found a dental team that prioritizes comfort, compassion, and outstanding care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Dr. Sohaib Mustafa enough. He is truly one of the most skilled and professional dentists I have ever met. I was suffering from unbearable tooth pain for weeks. The pain was so severe that even strong painkillers did not help. I visited several dentists, and every one of them told me that the only option was to extract the tooth. When I went to Dr. Sohaib Mustafa, everything changed. He took the time to carefully examine my tooth and quickly found the real cause of the pain. The problem was an infection inside a tooth that had previously been treated with a root canal. Instead of removing my tooth, Dr. Sohaib Mustafa spent almost four hours performing a very challenging root canal retreatment. He carefully removed all four old root canal fillings, cleaned and disinfected the canals, treated the infection, and sealed everything again with incredible precision. The entire procedure required exceptional skill, patience, and attention to detail. Throughout the treatment, he was calm, gentle, and made me feel comfortable despite how complicated the procedure was. Because of Dr. Sohaib Mustafa’s expertise, he saved my tooth when others said it couldn’t be saved. Most importantly, the pain that I had been suffering from completely disappeared. Thank you, Dr. Sohaib Mustafa, for your professionalism, dedication, and outstanding work. I am truly grateful, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, highly skilled, and compassionate dentist. You are simply the best!

It’s always hard finding a new dentist and with one appointment made a day ago mind you- I got everything planned out. The staff is the absolute sweetest I had so many questions and they were patient and kind with all of it. They have a really cool 360 x ray machine that plays music. And the dentist himself was amazing. He explained everything, answered every question and didn’t make me feel like he was rushed. 10/10

I have been going to Lockport Dental Group in Lockport IL since the early 1970’s. Over the years I’ve had several Dentist, but for the last 30 plus years I’ve been seeing Dr. James Gerhardt. I think he is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He’s very knowledgeable about his profession and is always very gentle when cleaning my teeth I’m 80 years old and I still have most of my teeth thanks to him. He is always pleasant to talk to and I think of him as my friend. I hope he continues to practice for many more years
