Hickory Heights Dental

Called weeks before to explain that due to ID theft, we would not allow our ID's to be kept on file, that we had no issue with showing our ID's each and every time we came in and this was approved by the doctor. However, weeks go by, text exchanges occur, and I moved an appointment to be able to ensure that me, and my family could come into this practice. NO ONE advised me during the weeks that occurred that the appointments scheduled for TOMORROW, would require our having our ID's on file. When I spoke with Megan, after having spoken with Paige earlier in the day on 9/1/2026, Megan suddenly decided to "inform" me two hours before their practice CLOSED THE DAY BEFORE OUR APPTS WERE SCHEDULED, that if we wanted to be seen we would HAVE to have ID's on file. She claims to have to have them to "verify" insurance. Ma'am, I am not 3 so I don't know who you think you are telling this nonsense to but I am an intelligent woman, know how insurance in general works, know how my own insurance works, and NO YOU DO NOT NEED AN DRIVERS LICENSE ON FILE TO VERIFY INSURANCE. The doctor had already approved the situation, you apparently didn't like not having the "control" and your snotty attitude makes me think we dodged a bullet here. You want us to agree to a 24 hour cancellation policy but you yourself couldn't be bothered to pick up a phone and call someone to advise them of this before the day before two hours before you closed when I find it out because I CALLED THE PRACTICE? Shameful. I would not ever get dental care here because if this is the "care" they give, watch out. My time wasn't respected, nor was consideration given to me or my family who called weeks in advance of these appointments. To have Megan blatantly lie over the phone claiming to need the actual ID photocopied for them to potentially lose, in order for them to verify insurance that she had confirmed during our phone call that she had already verified, quick question Megan, "How did you verify it without our precious driver's licenses" on file? HORRIBLE PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

Everyone at Hickory Height Dental was so sweet to me! I didn't feel any nervousness or fear during the entire process. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the staff made me choose this as my new dental clinic. The doctor explained everything detail by detail, the assistant was professional and sweet, and all the girls at the reception were incredibly kind. I highly recommend this place! 1000/100%

Dr. Aiken was very nice and really made it easy for my first time going back to the dentist in many years. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and very accommodating. Edit: 1 week later I came back in for a root canal and permanent crown, I did not feel any pain whatsoever during the procedure, I didn't even feel the needle going into my gums. I was nervous for my first root canal, but Dr. Aiken is pure class and handled everything professionally. If you're in need of a new dentist, don't hesitate to come here! you wont regret it!

Everyone is always so welcoming! I have severe dental anxiety and they are always so patient and gentle with me that I switched my 5 year old here as well from a pediatric dentist. They were just as amazing with her! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Pardue of Hickory Heights Dental and the entire team at this office. When they took me on as a patient, they had no idea they would be dealing with someone who has severe dental anxiety, but my experience quickly changed my perspective. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. Dr. Pardue and Rebecca were patient, understanding and gentle. They explained everything clearly and checked on my comfort throughout the process. Rebecca took time to walk me out to the billing desk and the ladies there were very knowledgeable, kind and extremely accommodating. Thank you for the exceptional care your team provides.

I visited Hickory Heights Dental upon the recommendation of my husband. He could not say enough good things about his experience. And I completely agree!!! From my phone call with Paige to make an appointment to checking out at the end with Jennifer….it was all an absolute pleasure. These are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. It is clear they are a patient first practice! My hygienist Savannah was so reassuring, thorough and precise. I truly appreciated her kindness. And Dr. Aiken took his time explaining his findings and sharing my next best steps. Everyone there has an amazing personality and I felt at eaae immediately! Just wanted to say how much I appreciate the crew that works at Hickory Heights Dental. They were all super friendly and kind and very understanding. Paige was so sweet when I called to make an appointment with them and upon doing so I mentioned I had severe anxiety with public places and she took note of that and even compared that to herself and made me feel more calm and welcomed with their care and with just the slight mention of that made me feel like I’m not alone. I got my appointment booked and when I got there everyone was nice and Meredith checked my teeth and did my X-rays and she made sure every chance she got to make sure I was ok, she gave me options such as a stress ball to relieve my stress if I needed it and asked if I needed anything afterwards like something to drink. Not once did I feel overwhelmed with anything very BIG thanks to Paige and Meredith. The dentist that came in to give me all the details of what was going on was Mr. Pardue and he was very calm and nice as well, he was making jokes with me and Meredith and I could feel he was trying to keep my mind occupied for me not get start over thinking. They both mentioned they couldn’t tell I was nervous or had anxiety and I mentioned I hide it well at times especially when I’m already there.They both were very comforting in telling me I did great. Overall experience was wonderful and made me want to cry with how well I was treated. It’s hard to go to places and not feel like ur being judged but with Hickory Heights Dental they didn’t even once make me feel like I had to explain myself to them. For that and many other reasons I’m really happy with the experience and will 100% recommend…especially if u have anxiety going anywhere including the dentist…I promise you this is the place to go!!!

All of the staff here were absolutely amazing. I can honestly say that this is the first dentist office I have ever been to where every single person that I met/interacted with/observed genuinely seemed happy to work there. They actually listened to me and catered the care to my concerns. The best way I can describe it is the most positive consultation you’ve ever had for your teeth. The dentist that I had said, “well it’s your teeth, we’re not going to do anything or force anything ever that you don’t approve and want.” They truly understand that dentists in the past have made a lot of people uncomfortable/scared of dentists because of how they were treated as kids in the dentist chair and they really do factor that in to how they treat people. The hygienist Meredith (I think, I’m sorry if I got this wrong) was seriously awesome and was more of a dentist than some of the actual doctors I’ve had in the past. When the dentist came in, and they began to discuss the x-rays and pictures, you could tell she knew exactly what she was talking about. There was no ego or pride with either of them. Just professionalism and care that made me feel listened to and respected. I’m super happy I came here and will continue to come here! And my kids will come here too.

The folks at Hickory Dental have always been very nice and professional. I have been going to this practice for well over 30 years. My dental hygienist Melanie is always super nice and very thorough with her attention to my teeth. She also has a great grasp of my dental history and looks for changes from past visits. The recommendations made by the dentists are thoughtful and and clear with no pressure for immediate action, unless an obvious failure exists. I would highly recommend Hickory Heights dental for anyone in the Hickory area.

I would highly recommend this place. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they will do what it takes to get you taken care of. I came in with an emergency (severe pain) from start to finish I was greatly cared for and the lady at the front desk took care of my follow up with surgery and helping me find a place to take my Medicaid. Everyone makes you feel very welcome and they don’t break your bank. I’m very appreciative with everyone on staff today that helped me.
