Advanced Dentistry of Clifton Park, Dr. Katie Tonkin DDS

Dr. Tonkin has been my dentist since I returned to the Capital region a year ago. Her and her entire staff are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. They actually have an onsite lab that makes crowns, pontics, etc. while you wait instead of sending out for them, which takes days. They are also conveniently located next to tge Adirondack Oral Surgery Center, which is a huge plus.

Advanced Dentistry of Clifton Park lives up to its name — Dr. Tonkin and the team are highly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I really appreciate that they offer early morning appointments; it makes fitting dental care into a busy schedule so much easier. Highly recommend!

Today I had my teeth cleaned and a 6 monthly inspection carried out. I was extremely pleased with the thoroughness of the Hygienist and very satisfied with her concern for my comfort; she didn't hurt me at all!! The Dentist was also very thorough during the inspection. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

I have been a very pleased patient of Dr. Tonkin for nearly 8 years. An old filling just caused one of my teeth to crack and break off on Mother's Day! Dr. Tonkin took me in the very next morning. We discussed a care schedule to resolve it quickly and thoroughly. This is not my first dental emergency where Dr. Tonkin took me in so quickly. She and and her team always resolve my teeth issues with kind professionalism, and totally pain-free which is important to me! I absolutely love Dr. Katie Tonkins office. Dr. Tonkins is so patient and kind. She takes the time with her patients to go over and questions or concerns. All the hygienists and office staff are kind and friendly, always helpful too. I love that they send automatic reminders and use text messaging to communicate. In addition, I want to give a huge shout out to my hygienist, Guneet. Guneet has been my hygienist for the last 3-4 years She has always made my experience worry free (I am terrified of any dental work due to many bad experience previously in my childhood). Today was the first time I have ever felt comfortable enough to close my eyes during a dental experience. I almost wanted to take a nap! Guneet is so gentle, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough!
