Vida Dental Buda

From start to finish, everyone I interacted with at Vida Buda was exactly what I hoped for. Ruby helped calm my nerves and Dr. Patel never made me feel like just another patient. Everyone was attentive and patient. The front desk staff explained everything in detail and presented reasonable options for financing. I’ve been to 4 different dentists in the Kyle/Buda area and my experience at Vida Buda far surpasses any other.

As someone who is trama when it comes to dentists especially in the US. This location is actually the best. They are very patient, understanding, and put your health first while trying their best to make sure you’re not breaking the bank. They also checked my insurance and approved it in less than an hour? Unheard of when it comes to dentist experiences, atleast for me. Highly recommend. Everyone is great and will call it my primary dentist moving forward. ☺️

I have a limited budget but the one thing I refuse to let fall to the wayside is dental health. Dental health is a super important aspect of overall health. Luckily the team over at Vida has plenty of payment options and understanding practitioners that help me develop a treatment plan that works with my budget. I neglected my oral health for a few years because of fear of cost and lack of health insurance but the team here has helped set me up with a beautiful and healthy smile. Thank you!

Waste of time. I’ve never been to a dentist where their main focus is selling services I never asked for nor imperative to my teeth health. I wanted a regular cleaning and they wasted an hour of my time explaining how to brush and floss. I’m someone who never misses a cleaning and has damn near perfect teeth. I don’t need a whole Ted talk, I need a cleaning. Would not recommend. Wish they actually cared about what a client needs/asked for instead of a quota needed to be reached. Will never return.

I recommend anyone coming to Vida Dental to get a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment. I was told I had five cavities that needed fillings, even though I had never previously been told I had any dental issues. I trusted Dr. Ryan because she is a dentist, but looking back, I strongly believe only one filling was truly necessary and the others could have been monitored and prevented from getting worse over time. As an adult, I know I could have declined treatment, but I didn’t know what questions to ask; I’m naive when it comes to dental care and especially insurance, so I relied on their guidance. I also felt pressured into additional procedures that I later learned were optional that are not covered by insurance; things like air abrasion, desensitization, and Isovac. None of this was verbally explained beforehand, and I was never given a clear choice to decline them. Especially with this happening near the end of the year, it felt less like they were focused on my care and more like they were trying to meet a quota or maximize charges before my benefits reset. That’s not how dental care should feel. The staff may be friendly, but patients deserve transparent pricing and honest communication about what is optional versus required. Please ask questions, ask for a complete verbal breakdown of costs (not just on a piece of paper), and don’t hesitate to get another opinion before moving forward.

Dr Ryan and her team are amazing! From the sweet ladies at the front desk to the amazing and kind dental hygienist! They are amazing! I felt so cared for. I feel like I’ve found my forever dentist! 10/10 across the board!

For one my favorite thing about this office is that you can text them. Love that feature! - I had a difficult tooth that needed a filling. It ended up needing an adjustment after. Dr Ryan was really nice about it and tried to fix me up. It was still bothering me two months later so I went in for another adjustment to see if there was anything they could do. She completely redid the filling for free and it came out perfectly. For the first time in over a year I don’t have pain on that side of my mouth.
