Bozeman Dentistry

It’s not often that I feel compelled to write a glowing review, but Dr. McCormick and his exceptional staff deserve every bit of praise I can give them. I’m a retired doctor and was a very happy patient of Dr. McCormick’s before recently moving to San Francisco. Once there, I figured I should find a local dentist. So I did my homework. I chose an experienced, well-established dentist who seemed highly qualified and even taught at the UCSF School of Dentistry. What could possibly go wrong? Apparently, quite a lot. After my examination, I was presented with a laundry list of “urgent” dental treatment totaling thousands and thousands of dollars. Then a case manager appeared. I was told I needed to sign a contract before they would even reserve an appointment for this supposedly urgent treatment. Okay…that already had my doctor radar flashing. But then came the kicker: The “URGENT” treatment couldn’t be scheduled for SIX MONTHS. Wait…what??? If my dental problems were serious enough to require thousands of dollars of urgent treatment, how could they safely sit untreated for another six months? 🚩🚩🚩 After many years practicing, I know that when something doesn’t make clinical sense, you stop and ask questions. And this didn’t make sense. I got out of there ASAP. Within an hour, I called the San Francisco office and asked them to send my X-rays and records to Dr. McCormick in Bozeman. I was then given a cockamamie explanation about how transferring my records could take “weeks” and that I shouldn’t expect anything anytime soon. Having been a doctor for many, many years, I politely reminded them that I was familiar with the laws governing patients’ access to their medical records. Funny how quickly things can move. The VERY NEXT DAY, Dr. McCormick’s office called me. He had already reviewed my records and X-rays. His conclusion? Yes, I needed some dental work. No, I did NOT need anything remotely resembling the extensive treatment I had been presented with in San Francisco. And the cost wasn’t remotely close either. So what did I do? I caught a flight to Bozeman. Dr. McCormick saw me, took care of what actually needed to be done, and had me fixed up in UNDER AN HOUR—for a fraction of what I had been quoted in San Francisco. Problem solved. And so is my search for a San Francisco dentist. I’m done looking. I already have a fantastic dentist. He’s just a plane ride away in Bozeman. From now on, I’ll happily schedule my dental appointments with Dr. McCormick and fly back to Montana. Some things are worth traveling for. A dentist you completely trust is one of them. Dr. McCormick and his staff are exceptional. They have earned my trust many times over, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Google would let me give them six stars, I would.

I’m a part-time Montana resident and broke a crown while traveling through Bozeman. I called the office and within two days I got an appointment for a new crown to be built in-house and installed in a single visit. Great staff and great dental care. Emergency dental care when traveling can be hit or miss but this practice is first class all the way.

Had my teeth cleaned today they did an awesome job. I forgot The gal's name but she was excellent. All the staff is so friendly. Great place I would recommend to anyone!

The staff at Bozeman Dentistry is nothing short of excellent. They are kind, caring, thorough and just simply wonderful. Everyone is so personable and make going to the dentist like running another errand. I would give them ten stars if I could !

Incredibly kind people work here, providing amazing care! Dr McCormick and staff were extremely helpful in getting me in for several recently broken teeth, not only taking care of the acute problem, but also effectively dealing with some chronic issues in the same area. I told Dr McCormick that he’s a miracle worker and I meant it!

My first visit was very smooth, everyone was so nice and the office was sparkling clean. Very competent dentist. Much better services, staff, and technology than my prior dentists in California. They reviewed the treatment plan and costs in the room with me prior to treatment, which is something my previous dentists never did. Much appreciated and looking forward to going back.
