I had a great experience at Care Family Dentistry. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made the entire visit easy and comfortable. I really appreciated the quality of care and how welcoming the staff was. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the south Tulsa/Bixby area.

I was a patient here and did not have a good experience with how my concerns were handled. I had finally reached a point after several very difficult years personally where I had the time and capacity to take care of some more involved dental work. I’d been a patient for a couple of years for all of my cleanings. I was anxious about the dental work, so being able to ask questions and feel confident in my treatment was very important to me. After having a crown placed with one of the other dentists in the office, I had concerns about the process and the pain I continued to have afterward. I was experiencing discomfort immediately after the crown was placed but was told it should get better. It did not, and I returned to have it adjusted. During that process (and initial placement), I expressed concern about my natural tooth above the new crown being drilled to accommodate the crown below after I was told the crown had “come in tall.” I still have discomfort in that area. At a later appointment, I spoke with Dr. Standlee directly about those concerns, along with some other concerns I had from previous experiences, because I wanted to understand what had happened and feel comfortable moving forward with the rest of my treatment plan. She gave me information I had not previously been made fully aware of, and after that conversation I felt more comfortable moving forward with my care. Shortly after that conversation, I received a letter dismissing me as a patient. I understand that a dental practice can decide a patient relationship is no longer a good fit. That is fine. What was upsetting to me was the way it was handled. I had raised concerns directly and respectfully because I was trying to feel comfortable continuing my care following disappointing experiences, and instead I received a dismissal letter followed by no explanation and no response to my attempts to understand why. I wish this had been handled differently.

First appointment at Care Family Dentistry with Dr Rachel Standlee was a wonderful experience. Scheduling the appointment was easy, and the staff who I encountered were friendly and professional. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed, comfortable, and treated with sincere kindness and respect. From the hygienist to the dentist they ensured I had a comfortable experience during X-rays, cleaning, and evaluation of my mouth and teeth. The entire exam was the most thorough I’ve ever had. I’m thankful they were recommended to me.

My first visit to Care Family Dentistry was amazing! I was under time constraints and they scheduled me quickly when I called for an appointment. As a new patient, I was given a "tour" of the facility. I was told what to expect then taken to the exam room. When I got there, a "welcome" gift was waiting for me. This is done for all new patients. The staff was friendly and inviting and the amenities, yes I said amenities, were plentiful. You could get a warm blanket, a neck pillow, wifi, movie channels and the list goes on. My provider was Dr. Sellmeyer. She is the best dentist ever! I had a chipped front tooth and she repaired it so well that I couldn't even tell there was any damage. I forgot to mention that the waiting room has a kids section to keep them entertained and there are goodies for everyone, including fresh baked cookies. I could go on but you have to see for yourself. You won't go wrong choosing Care Family Dentistry.

Likely the best experience at a dental clinic in my entire life! Jahna provided the easiest full cleaning I’ve ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable and very patient and she makes you feel so comfortable. Dr. Standlee has curated this clinic to provide the most relaxed and inviting space. From the moment you walk in the door you can tell you are about to have a great experience! Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you for the care you provide to your community!

My first experience at Care Family Dentistry was outstanding. From the greeting at the door, through checking out at the desk, my experience was both professional and friendly! Everything was clean and they do everything imaginable to make you as comfortable as you want to be. I had my teeth cleaned and the dental hygienist, Meghan was both caring and informative. It was the most pain free dental x-rays, ever! Dr. Nauman did an exam and answered my questions in a way that I understood. She was very thorough and friendly! I’m thankful I decided to give them a try!

Do not walk...RUN to this practice. The Care Family Dentistry is such a wonderful team of people made me and my wife feel at home. I suffer from dental anxiety and was relieved to be at a place that took care of us from door to door. As recent transplants and retirees to the area we were looking for a place that would be a part of our dental journey and found the best place to address our needs. Everyone from the receptionist desk to the hygienist and the doctors took great care of us. As a past professional that measured the patient experience and did advocacy for over 30 yrs I give them outstanding score! Great job. Remember, dont walk....RUN to the best Dentistry in the area.

My family has been going to Care Family Dentistry for a few years now and we’ve had a great experience every single time. We’ve seen different dentists and hygienists, and every person we’ve interacted with has been kind, professional, and patient. They’re amazing with my kids, always taking the time to put them at ease and make the visit feel comfortable instead of scary. I also love the comfort menu items; it makes such a difference and shows how much they care. Highly recommend!
