My first visit here was very pleasant. Everyone was friendly and very informative! Gave me options and did not pressure me to make a big decision right away. Definitely look forward to being a returning patient.

I went for a cleaning today. I had a great experience with the young guy who took my ex-rays. Honestly, this was the first time since I have been getting cleanings that my ex-rays went so smoothly. He was great!! Also, the young lady who did my cleaning added the same ingredients. She did great as well!! Lastly my dentist, Dr. Cowen came in and checked me thoroughly as always. He never rushes and does a great job explaining what is needed. I always tell him, that he enjoys what he does. I love the way he takes pride in his work. If you are looking for a good dentist, look no further. ❤️

I absolutely love Dr. Cowan. He has gone above and beyond for my daughter/ family. My daughter was terrified of the dentist until Dr. Cowan. I can not rave enough about him! Bedside manner - amazing! His work - amazing! He is truthful, patient, gentle, and overall great. Today I forgot a crown at home, he told me go get it and I'll wait on you. I live 30 mins away! He waited and so did his staff. They all cheered when I got back and he took care of us right then. I cant say enough how much in every way that he is an amazing dentist. Truly a gem. Will always recommend.

If you’re looking for a dental office you can trust, look no further. I found this office using google and chose it because of the raving reviews. They were well deserved. They fit me in for an emergency that I needed and I was seen the next day. Staff was amazing starting with the front desk, followed by Kaitlyn the orthodontist?(a total GEM), and Dr Cowen. They were very professional and kept my comfort an absolute priority! So glad I found a place I can trust. I’ve visited several sketchy places from Zachary, to Denham, and even Prairieville. I feel at home here and I’m sure you will too.

Highly recommend . I’ve always had great experiences here . All of the staff i’ve encountered have been professional, kind & very knowledgeable. They always seem happy to explain things occurring during the visit , easing the anxieties of those who may not enjoy going to the dentist. They’re great.

The team at Southern Oaks have been taking care of my teeth since 2017. I have always had a pleasant experience at each visit. A great group of friendly professionals, very well-run dental practice.

Been coming here since about 2022. Dr. Cowen and staff are the best! They are kind, courteous, helpful, and overall excellent at their jobs. The care I receive is always exceptional. Today, Dr. Cowen put in an implant. They numbed me up, tested my sensitivity, numbed me some more, then went work. I didn’t feel a thing, which was great. I’ll go back in about 3 months and get scanned for my crown.

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate Dr. Cowen and his staff. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Dr. Cowen was very thorough with explaining everything! His assistant Ariel was just as nice and thorough. The ladies who handled the insurance process were thorough and helpful with getting everything processed with my insurance company. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s in need of a good dentist.
