I wish I had a better explanation of my procedure. The procedure they did was NOT what it was explained to me in my initial appointment. Everyone was in a hurry and I feel like patients don’t get the care and time we deserve. Plus when they called me to make my payment the girl didn’t even know what she was talking about she was telling me that a referral was done to extract some wisdom that I don’t have

From the moment I walked in, every member of the team was exceptional. The front desk staff, the doctor, the X-ray technician, and the hygienist who cleaned and polished my teeth were all attentive, professional, and genuinely present throughout my visit. They respected my time by working efficiently without ever making me feel rushed. Everyone took the time to explain each step, answer my questions, and ensure I was comfortable. It was such a positive experience!

My Experience was Awesome! Dr. Kim and my Hygienist were up front and honest about my oral care. I'm thankful that I didn't need extra unessarry work done. Dr.Kim made it simple and focused on what needed to be done for healthy gums. Looking forward to my future visits. TY Jeri Royal

The office staff is great, coordinators are also great and very helpful. My kids both were seen last month and the ladies who did their cleanings were so sweet and made my kids super comfortable, especially my son who has had some dental anxiety. However I feel the pediatric dentist there should have better bedside manner especially working with children. She wasn’t very friendly and pushed a lot of things that I felt were about money to her. This is why I am giving three stars.

After recently moving, I tried two other dental offices for both myself and my kids, but I never felt completely comfortable. Then I found Capital Dental Group in Bakersfield, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, every member of the staff was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. They made me feel like more than just another patient and immediately put me at ease. A special thank you to Jasmin, Liz, and Jess, they are incredibly sweet, compassionate, and truly passionate about what they do. Their kindness and genuine care made such a positive impression on me. The dentist was just as amazing. He was so kind, gentle, and treated me like I was family. He constantly checked on me throughout my appointment to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that made me feel at ease. It’s rare to find a provider who combines professionalism with such genuine compassion, and it truly meant so much to me. The office itself is beautiful, spacious, and very well organized. It’s clear they’re equipped to care for many patients while still making every person feel seen and cared for. Finding a dental office you can trust isn’t always easy, especially after moving to a new area, but I’m so grateful I found Capital Dental Group. I finally feel like I’ve found a dental home for my family. I’ll definitely be bringing my kids back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and welcoming dental team. Thank you all for making what is usually a stressful experience feel so easy and comforting. You have gained a lifelong patient!

I’ve gone to Capital Dental for about 6 years now and I’ve always been very pleased with their care and service. I love that they work faster than any other dentist office I’ve been to and they are very thorough. My one complaint is that my last checkup, about a week ago, showed a concerning update to their office. They’ve started using AI to check the X-rays instead of having an actual dentist look at your teeth and review the X-rays at the time of the checkup. Not a big deal if the AI doesn’t pick up on anything. But if it does, it can’t tell you what the issue is, so a dentist has to check the X-ray, and if there’s not a dentist available to check the X-ray, you have to schedule another appointment for them to do so. Such a waste of time for the customer. I was upset by this discovery and have even considered switching dentists because of this update. Maybe not a deal breaker for some people, but for me, who has a history of bad teeth and lives 40 minutes away, it just might be. I voiced my concern to the hygienist and they agreed that’s it’s not very convenient but also, there’s not much that can be done.

It’s a well organized dentist office, I never have waited more than just a few minutes. Their service has been great every time. I appreciate their dedicated departments for braces, hygiene, dental work, etc. Anything you need it’s there in one place; they have the technology to help you. Their schedule is so flexible with long hours and weekends, I have always recommended this office to my friends and family.
