Alameda Family Dental Practice

I've been going to this dental practice for 20 years and I love the treatment I receive here.

I love Dr Kong. I could on and on about her all day long. She’s amazing. And I hate going to the dentists more than anything. She’s thorough. She’s empathetic. But most of all, she’s an awesome dentist. I go here even though it’s out of my network and will continue to do so until I no longer have teeth. Laura , the dental hygentist, is also great. I no longer dread going to the dentist. Highly recommended.

DO NOT bring your family here unless you can fork out the entire cost of each appt as you have to have to contact your own insurance to get your money back. I wish I saw this on the reviews extremely disappointed. As someone who is deathly terrified of the dentist I was eager to meet this team and work on prioritizing my heath but left an even worst taste in my mouth as I cannot be helped unless I can pay the $1400 for me, my hubs and son to be seen. So disappointed.

I was a patient at this practice of Dr Tonsberg many years ago. I was happy to return when my former clinic halted Delta Dental relations. Both the dentist and hygienist were extremely pleasant and concerned with my health and gave me a recommendation to a periodontist. This was never recommended by my former dentist. While disturbing I am appreciative and will follow the advice immediately.

Finding Alameda Family Dental is a dream come true. The staff are friendly, warm, and inviting. Just had my first teeth cleaning since before Covid and have exposed nerves. The dental hygienist took excellent care and I actually didn't feel a thing!!!!! I highly recommend Alameda Family Dental!

I’ve been going to this office for almost 10 years. Appreciate the staff that have continued on with the new owners. Dr. Fogarty is really wonderful. The dental hygienist and dental anssistants are really wonderful. I miss having a receptionist who remembered me. Also, I was surprised yesterday with my teeth cleaning that the prices had gone up. I find I have to ask for a detailed receipt because otherwise I just get the little print out from the credit card machine. I don’t have dental insurance, so knowing how much the cost will be is very important to me. That’s the only reason for one less star. And overall I would highly recommend.

I have seen Dr Fogarty on several occasions. She has been very accommodating and great to work with. The front desk has been terrific finding me cancellations when I needed to get in soon. The dental hygienists are similarly providing great care.
